Cambie Painters was founded on a straightforward idea: Vancouver homeowners and business owners deserve a painting contractor they can actually rely on. Too many contractors in the lower mainland operate without clear timelines, skip the prep work, or disappear after the first cheque clears. We built our company as a direct alternative to that experience.
We handle both residential and commercial painting from our location at 60 W 22nd Ave in Vancouver. Our crews are in-house — we don't subcontract — so every project is managed and executed by people we've trained and work with daily.

How We Approach Every Project
We don't rush to the painting phase. Before any paint goes on, we've already protected your floors and furniture, fixed drywall issues, filled cracks and nail pops, and applied the right primer for the surface. For interior projects, we use vacuum-assisted sanding to keep dust out of your home during the process. For exteriors, we pressure wash, scrape failing paint, seal all joints with elastomeric caulk, and prime before applying colour. On commercial projects, we coordinate start times around your operating hours and use fast-curing, zero-VOC products so your space is ready for business the next morning.

We're a Vancouver-based company and we hire locally. Our journeymen and finishing painters come from BC trade programs and local apprenticeships. We source our supplies from local trade suppliers rather than box stores, which gives us access to professional-grade products and faster restocking when projects require additional materials mid-job.
